This page explains how to delete your account in PerGoRide, or in a ride app powered by PerGoRides.
In the app
- Open the app and sign in.
- Open the menu and tap Settings.
- Tap Delete My Account and confirm.
Without the app
Email hello@pergorides.com with the subject “Delete my account”. Include the phone number you use to sign in. We will confirm by text message before deleting the account.
What is deleted
- Your account and phone sign-in. You can no longer log in, and you can sign up again later as a new user.
- Your profile (name and email).
- Upcoming reservations made in the app are cancelled.
- Your saved payment card can no longer be charged through the app.
What is kept
Records of rides you already took, such as pickup and drop-off places, times, fares and payments, are kept by the transportation company that provided the ride. They need these for legal, tax and, for Medicaid trips, regulatory record-keeping. They are kept for 5 years and then deleted.
